Modular High Security Panelling System

The Modular High Security Panelling System has culminated from several years of development, as an extension to the Safecell™ Modular Cell System.

Unique Construction

Incorporating the strength of a steel skin, in combination with the lightweight, non-toxic, acoustic rated and fire retardant qualities of the Strammita core, this unique combination is enhanced further by an extremely efficient proprietary construction process. Single panel systems are utilised in pre-existing non-secure structures. Dual panel systems are utilised in open floor environments. Panel joints are staggered for optimum security.

Hidden Fixings

All construction fixings are hidden from the secured face, ensuring smooth, flush surfaces. The reverse side is finished with anti-tamper, high security stainless post screws.

Lightweight

Due to the lightweight nature of the system, it can be retrofit into almost any standard structure, providing a self contained high security environment. Developed as a modular prison cell system, applications have expanded to include high security document storage and vault assemblies, particularly where weight-load issues eliminate the use of traditional vault products.

Integral Roofing Structure

The system encompasses roofing panels that, by nature of their construction, form a structural ‘I’ beam when interleaved together. As a result, a ceiling span of up to 4 metres long is possible. Suitable for secure corridor areas, the number of panels that can be interleaved is almost unlimited.

Joint Integrity

A high grade silicone product is utilised as a preferred alternative to epoxy grout. Thus any long term movement in the surrounds does not culminate in cracked / flaking grout. (Other fillings applied on request.)

Cladding Options

Panels are clad in high strength 1.6mm galvanised steel. Other specialist claddings available include :

  • Stainless steel
  • Aluminium
  • Padded

Flexibility in Finish

Panels are generally painted on-site utilising hi-tech finishes, such as PSK700 Engineered Siloxane. Panels can also be pre-finished in powder coat, minimising on-site labour.

Standard Dimensions

Std Width
Wall Panel - 1200mm (centre)
Roof Panel - 600 - 900mm (centre)
Height
To site requirements
Ceiling Panel Length
4000mm maximum

Options

Tamper / vandal resistant housings, including: Service grilles, TV Monitor Enclosure, CCTV, Light Fittings
Glazing
Security locks / hinges

Paneling

Construction commences at a corner intersection, with the module quickly becoming self-supporting. Wall and roofing panels are interleaved, with final fixings at, and ultimately hidden by, the entry door. Tamper resistant lighting, sky light and/or services housings are prefabricated into the roofing panels.

Paneling

Ceiling panels interface to installed walling panels, completing the secured physical environment. Glazing panels (if required), and door, are fitted in the final stages of installation. Fixings are inaccessible from secured face.

Paneling

In addition to the many finishes possible with the prefabricated panel sections, a padded cell environment is also available
